The objectives of the CIPANP Conferences are to encourage communications among experimental and theoretical elementary particle physicists, nuclear physicists, astroparticle physicists, astronuclear physicists, and cosmologists covering a wide range of topics of current interest. CIPANP will include plenary, parallel, and poster sessions organized around the following topics:

  • High Energy Frontier
  • Low Energy Precision Frontier
  • Neutrino Masses and Neutrino Mixing
  • Electroweak Tests of the Standard Model
  • Cosmic Frontier
  • Dark Matter and Dark Energy
  • Particle and Nuclear Astrophysics
  • Heavy Flavor and the CKM Matrix
  • QCD, Hadron Spectroscopy and Exotics
  • Hadronic Physics and Spin
  • Nucleon Structure
  • Nuclear Structure
  • Quark Matter and High Energy Heavy-Ion Collisions
  • New Facilities and their Instrumentation

As was done for the previous CIPANP Conferences, arrangements will be made for the American Institute of Physics to publish the CIPANP 2012 Proceedings.

Information about submitting a Contributed Paper/Poster (deadline 24 February 2012) is available at
